The maintenance work on the Gorse Hall estate mainly involves:
- Mowing and strimming the grass
- Pruning bushes and trees
- Removing coarse weeds
- Maintaining boundary fences and walls
- Repairing damage caused by vandalism
- Conservation of the historic features
No special skills are required. We simply ask that you come along whenever you can and help in any way you feel able.
Our team of volunteers usually meets twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am, by the green container on The Coach Road, just above the Quarry Street entrance. See the location map opposite.
Alternatively, you can join us on The Coach Road at the gates near the traffic lights on High Street, next to the Methodist Church.
